"I know this isn't the plan... but I can't stop thinking about that big, yellow female. Something about her makes me think of Rico." This was what I continued to tell Derek for 3 weeks. "I know we don't need to keep another puppy right now, but I think this girl is supposed to be mine." I was so serious about it. Derek's response, "That's fine. I trust you."
I'm so glad he does. Willa is the funniest, laziest Lab I have ever owned. Rico was her 90 pound, English/American grandfather. I was right. :) Weighing 60 pounds at 5 months old, I think she's going to be built just like him.
